Ongoing

Project Overview

INL has a dedicated social media team, but they brought RED, Inc. in over the years to help create additional content when they needed extra design support. My role was to make sure every piece I produced matched their established look and voice, so it could drop into their feed seamlessly alongside what the team was already publishing.

I worked directly with Idaho National Laboratory researchers, communications liaison and their social media team to execute INL’s content strategy, whether that was developing campaign assets or designing standalone graphics that supported a broader effort. We aligned early on goals, audience and key messages, then translated those needs into clear design direction. From there, I developed layout options, selected imagery that best communicated the story and platform, and refined visuals for engagement, ensuring each piece was on brand and ready to perform in the feed.

“Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course, if you dig deeper, it’s really how it works. ”

My role was to make sure every piece I produced matched their established look and voice, so it could drop into their feed seamlessly alongside what the team was already publishing.

I partnered directly with the client or INL’s social media team to bring their content strategy to life, whether that meant building out campaign assets or designing one-off graphics that supported a larger push. We aligned early on goals, audience, and key messages, then translated those needs into clear design directions. From there, I developed layout options, selected imagery that fit the story and the platform, and refined the visuals for maximum engagement, making sure every piece felt on-brand and ready to perform in the feed.
